Material quality: The main disadvantage of MDF shutters is their weight, making them not advisable for large windows. Additionally, if you envisage that your shutters are going to get heavy wear and you are planning to open and close your shutters regularly, they may not also be the best choice for you.

Colour: MDF shutters have a laminate coating as standard, which can discolour in direct sunlight. Hardwood shutters are stained or spray painted in a variety of colours to give a quality, long lasting finish.

No, our motorised blind ranges have the option of either long-life rechargeable batteries (like your mobile phone) or hard-wired.
To recharge the blind you simply plug the charger into your nearest plug socket and into the motor side of the blind. Once fully charged, the light turns green and you can enjoy 4-6months use without recharging.
